ABOUT:

These jars colonize quickly and completely, getting you across the line and ready for transfer to bulk substrate in the shortest possible time. We ship them to you sterilized and pre-watered to field capacity. Inject with your favorite solution or add cloned tissue culture and watch the mycelium RIP through the jars!

We only make the jars AFTER you order so you get the freshest possible substrate. It's not unusual to see mycelium forming within 2-3 days after inoculation, though 5-10 days is more typical especially if you're unsure of your gourmet strain's robustness.

The substrates have a very low contamination risk for grain spawn as long as you sterilize your syringes prior to inoculation, sterilize your lids and injection points, and use clean culture. 

Due to fluctuating jar availability, you may receive either short or tall half-pint jars. Surface area is the same for both types of jar and growth potential is identical.
